Thirty five highly qualified PhDs and MDs work at the IKP. Their fields of interest and expertise are varied and include specialists from a multitude of medical and scientific fields such as clinical pharmacology, molecular/cell biology, analytical chemistry, pathology, oncology, gastroenterology, molecular genetics, epigenetics, nursing, statistics and technology. In the past, more than 40 Early Stage Researchers have been trained and received PhDs working through the IKP, including 6 EU Marie Curie fellows trained within the 5FP Fighting Breast Cancer Project. In addition, 22 International Experienced Researchers have been trained. Currently, the IKP hosts 25 students pursuing a PhD.
